About
Ian Edward Prentice is a graphic designer,
specialising in type-led print and publication design.
Graduating with a First degree honours in 2011 from BA (Hons.)
Graphic Design at Leeds College of Art, Ian's work ranges from
identity and branding projects, to printed informational publications
and cultural promotional design. Ian has a passion for print and
process, and a keen eye for detail. His work is often type driven,
whether technical editorial or more experimental typographic layout.
Ian's print work is both classic and contemporary; it is physical
and tactile, utilising traditional printing processes and finishes
as well as digital practises. Exploring and exploiting formats and
conventions of publication design, Ian endeavours to challenge the
audience receipt, interaction and interpretation of information
through design.
